Questions related to create and activate an account, forgotten login and password, saving baskets...

You are private ?

To create your personal account on the Berthold Marx website, click on the "My account" drop-down menu at the top right of the site and then click on "Create an account" at the bottom of the box. In the form, indicate if you are an individual and enter your email address, which will become your login, as well as the other required information in the appropriate fields. Then click on "Create my account", an email will be sent to you and click on the activation link in the email. Without validation of this email, your account will not be activated. Once activated, you will be able to log in on the Berthold Marx website.


You are a professional ?

To create your professional account on the Berthold Marx website, click on the "My account" drop-down menu at the top right of the website and then click on "Create an account" at the bottom of the pop-up window. In the form, indicate if you are a professional and fill in the company name and the associated VAT number. Enter your email address, which will become your login, and other required information in the appropriate fields. Then click on "Create my account", an email will be sent to you within 24 hours (usually 1 hour if the request is made during the day). Then click on the activation link in the email, you will then be able to log in to the Berthold Marx website. Without validation of this email, your account will not be activated.


You already have a customer account number but you wish to create a professional account on our site ?

Click on the "My account" drop-down menu at the top right of the site and then click on "Create an account" at the bottom of the pop-up. In the form, indicate if you are a professional and click on the link "Don't have an account number and want to create a professional account? Click here". Fill in your email address, which will become your login, your password and your customer account number. Then click on "Request an account opening", an email will be sent to you within 24 hours (usually 1 hour if the request is made during the day). Then click on the activation link in the email, you will then be able to log in on the Berthold Marx website. Without validation of this email, your account will not be activated.

Why does it take so long to activate my Professional account?

The activation is done manually by our teams. It usually takes us 1 hour to activate your account but this time can be extended if the request is made in the evening or on the weekend. This delay is necessary to verify and validate a professional account.

If you have created a private account, the activation email should arrive within a few minutes. If this is not the case, please check your junk mail or spam folder.

I forgot my password ?

Click on the "My account" drop-down menu at the top right of the site, then click on the "Forgot your password" link below the "Log in" button. Fill in your username (email used to create your account) then click on "Submit" and a password reset email will be sent to you within a few minutes. Be sure to check your junk mail or spam folder in case you do not receive it.

I forgot my login?

If you have forgotten your login, please go to the "Help and Contact" section of the main navigation bar and click on the "Contact Us" box. Fill in the contact form and tell us your request, an expert will help you to recover your login.

The address provided at registration is not modifiable. You can however add delivery and billing addresses from your personal space. To do this, log in, click on "My account" and then "My addresses". Click on the "Add an address" button and fill in your new address using the form. At the bottom of the form you can define whether this address is a Delivery or a Billing address. You can change your address at any time during the delivery step from your cart.

I want to find my cart later ?

Your cart is saved on your account as long as you don't place an order and as long as you don't disconnect.


I want to save one or more baskets ?

When you are logged in, you can save several baskets at any time to place an order later. To do so, go to your shopping cart (at the top right of the site) and in the "Summary" block click on "Save my cart". In the window displayed, enter a basket name and an optional description and click on "Save my basket".

Your saved baskets are accessible either via the basket page in the "Summary" block via the "See my saved baskets" link. Or via the drop-down menu "My account" and then "My saved baskets".
On the saved baskets page, you can :
- Display a basket by clicking on it, you can then decide to replace your existing basket with this one.
- Delete a cart by clicking on the "Trash" icon
- Print a cart by clicking on the "Print" icon
- Download a cart as a PDF document by clicking on the "Download" icon
